INSPIRATION
WHAT INSPIRED THIS VISION?
From the year 2013, I have always desired to create content. I started by learning programming and creating apps; doing a few diy projects, writing, Then thought of vlogging...
Only recently, I kept hearing some lyrics of the song, So will I:
… I can see your heart in everything you’ve done. Every part designed in a work of art called love… |
At first, I just thought it was another random ear bug until I noticed it brought out three things I think about the most: God, Art and Love.
I pondered over those words and settled on this name, and with the help of friends, a logo and vision page; Which captured what I do as a profession: Architecture.
Perfect!
This is how I landed on blogging.
Apart from the song, there are particular Bible verses which I constantly mull over, as the Holy Spirit breathes over again and again. These too inspired the name and vision:
1. GOD’S ArTWORK
For we are His workmanship . . . Ephesians 2: 10 |
We
have become his poetry,
a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for
we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned
in advance our destiny and the good works
we would do to fulfill it!
Ephesians
2: 10 (Refer TPT)
The Amplified version calls us a work of art. NLT calls us, His
masterpiece.
A masterpiece is a work that is considered the greatest work of a
person’s career.
I remember the
first time I really understood this verse, I was persuaded that I would do
everything God put me on this earth to do, knowing that all of God's pieces are functional; None junk!
2.
LOVE
I
want you woven into a tapestry
of love... Colossians
2:2 MSG
|
I
looove that word tapestry, even before I knew what it meant, I knew it was referring
to something beautiful.
God wants us to be knit together by strong ties of
love, if you’ve worn a woolen sweater, that’s the imagery Paul was creating
here. This leads to a deeper knowledge of God, and Christ his great mystery.
Verse 11 says all treasures of wisdom and knowledge are embedded in
that mystery and nowhere else.
As you seek wisdom, you will find it
and LOVE is KEY.
3.
GOD’S AT WORK
... He who has begun a good
work in you will perfect
and complete Philippians
1:6
|
…
will perfect and complete…🤔🤔
The Passion Translation reads:
'... will faithfully continue the
process of maturing you and will put his finishing touches to it…'
When I got born again, I became a new creature, with a new nature: as One with God, and I believe that. My Spirit was born a new yet my mind and body need constant
renewal.
I am God's designed masterpiece, He brings me to that perfection daily. So, GOD IS AT WORK: hence the blog name
GOD’S ArTWORK (when you remove the little r and space between…) You’ve seen it😉!?
Awesome!
4.
GOD IS AT WORK
So
then, my dear ones, just as you have always obeyed [my instructions with
enthusiasm], not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, continue
to work out your salvation [that is, cultivate it, bring it to full effect,
actively pursue spiritual maturity] with awe-inspired fear and trembling [using
serious caution and critical self-evaluation to avoid anything that might offend
God or discredit the name of Christ].
For it is [not your
strength, but it is] God
who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work
[that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the
ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.
Philippians 2:12-13 (Refer AMP)
I love this version of the
scripture. Since the day I understood it, salvation has never been easier. I have seen
habits, addictions, chains, mind strongholds etc. break off my life. Sometimes,
I didn’t even hear the chains break, I found that they had already been broken
and swept away, only because I was rested.
.
. . Be still, God’s Artwork, God is at work😊 for you, in you and through you!
